Villa "Cortijo Poqueira"

The villa "Cortijo Poqueira" is situated 2 Km. away from Pampaneira village in La Alpujarra, inside the Natural Park of Sierra Nevada. The property is situated on a terraced mountainside, amongst fruit trees and lush chestnut, walnut and other deciduous trees. The sound of water trickling from a natural spring makes it an ideal place to rest and relax.

There are three houses surrounded by trees and green plants, they are located 20 m. and 60 m. from each other. Two of them are available for rent. The third is used by the owner.

In the garden there is a pond with a water lily plant and fishes.

Close to the main road there is the parking of the property, which is 100 meters away from the houses, and it´s connected by a beautiful pathway surrounded by trees and finishes in a cute pond formed by a natural water fountain.

Electricity is 220 V. The two houses are built from stone and reclaimed wood and feature beautiful, artistic details, including tiles made by the owner.

The swimming pool (7,30m x 4,30m)is situated on a terrace aprox. 100m from the houses and is also for communal use.

The houses are provided with bed sheets and towels. There is a washing machine for the communal use of all the houses in a covered patio area. We provide the necessary fire wood but is not included in the price.

In the property there is a very charming old dog.

The small house has Wi-fi connection. For the clients of the big house we provide a sitting room that is 60 meters away with Wi-fi.

In the villa Cortijo Poqueira, we offer a lodging where you can spent some days in contact with nature, a place to relax, disconnect from the routine and find your self back with nature. To achieve this, we offer the hands, knowledge and experience of Angela Valiente, a person with studies in massages and chinese medicine.

We offer service of massages and acupuncture to the clients that whish it with previous booking.

• 15 minutes from Orgiva, where there is a market on Thursdays
• 1 hour and 15 minutes from Granada
• 1,5 hours from the ski station of Sierra Nevada.

It is built on different levels:

The lower level has two entrances leading to the garden, both with patios, one is shaded by an enormous chestnut tree and the other by a beautiful wisteria full of purple flowers in spring (there is a barbecue and a ping-pong table on this patio).There are seating areas on both patios.

The ground floor, which is open plan: Living room with a fireplace that heats all the rooms with a hot air system. Firewood is not included in the price-the cost is aprox. 6 euros per day. Further supplies can be purchased from the owner. There is also a sofa-bed. Kitchen and dining room. Bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. Door into courtyard and garden.

It has one level (40 m2) and a nice big terrace with a barbecue, table and chairs.
